proposals assume that Americans do not contract illnesses all of
the time. The prevention of illnesses should be a top priority
in any universal healthcare proposal. These programs should
strive to help human beings to not be or to not become a threat to oneself or a
threat to others. Essential social services can be more
beneficial than throwing money at doctors exclusively. You
should join the fight for universal healthcare by contacting
your elected officials to encourage them to support such
